What do we like?

While a legend would have the origins of the collège des Bons-Enfants dating back to the Carolingian times, written sources locate it in the 13th century. At that time, the Chapter had the collège accommodate a number of disadvantaged children, and who were educated in the chapter schools.

In the 16th century, the site became a place of learning, with accommodation, and also housed a part of the University of Reims (founded in 1548).

The buildings were replaced at the end of the 19th century by structures that now accommodate a school referred to as the “Collège Université”.
