Eglise Saint-Benoît

REIMS
  • Eglise Saint Benoît Reims (c) Pauline Colin

What do we like?

Saint-Benoît church was built in 1911 by Carnegie Library architect Max Sainsaulieu, inspired by Roman churches. The architect had to restore it a few years later, following the bombardments of the First World War.

The church features magnificent stained-glass windows by the Simon and De Troeyer studios, an Art Deco-inspired interior and a coffered ceiling that gives the church exceptional acoustics.
