What better way to discover the vineyards of the Montagne de Reims than by electric bike? Audrey will take you through vineyards and villages, explaining the year-round work that goes into making the world's most famous wine. You can also discover the Michel TIXIER Champagne estate: its press, vat room and cellars, filled with that delicious nectar: Champagne! Located in Chigny-les-roses, this boutique offers champagnes and wines from independent winemakers, as well as regional products. All these nuggets have been unearthed by Audrey, the manager. In 2022, after 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Audrey decided to change her professional life. With her husband Benoît and their 3 children, Lilian, Clément and Elisa, they joined forces to create "Les pépites de la cave". For 6 months, the cellar of Champagne Michel Tixier was transformed before the family's eyes, thanks to Alexandra, an interior designer who understood Audrey's desire and need: to develop a space that would be warm, friendly and welcoming, and that would showcase all her nuggets. The champagne Michel Tixier, managed by her husband, is of course featured prominently. The 8 cuvées are displayed on light-colored wooden desks. The wines chosen are those of independent winegrower friends, driven by the same passion for their craft as Benoît. Today, 13 brands are present, each with between 3 and 6 cuvées. Choose from white, rosé, red, sweet or mellow wines. Something for every palate!
