What do we like?

Children's games, sports and leisure facilities, water mirrors and kiosks: the promenades form a tree-lined relaxation area in the heart of Reims for everyone!

An elm mall was created around 1733 by Jean Le Roux on the edge of the old ramparts. Classified in 1932, the Promenades were the first public space in Reims to be classified as a leisure area.
The plantations, until recently dominated by chestnut trees, have been renewed several times over the centuries and have just been partly replaced by hairy oaks.

Completely redeveloped in 2019 as part of the Reims Grand Centre project, the renovated and densely replanted Hautes Promenades offer a new range of leisure facilities that have quickly become popular with the people of Reims.
Two new fountains enliven the site.
There are also several commemorative areas, including the monument to the Martyrs of the Resistance at its center.
