Stèle de l'Hôpital d'Orientation et d'Évacuation

On the road between Jonchery-sur-Vesle and Pévy, at a place called "La Croix du Conte", at the Naurois farm junction, stands a stele commemorating the site of this former hospital, built at the time of General Nivelle's offensive in April 1917.
It includes a stele commemorating the many poilus who suffered or died in this hospital.
Three lecterns featuring photographs and texts bring these painful moments to life.
