Full description
Pick-up from Epernay at 9:35 am in front of the Epernay Tourist Office. Pass the famous Avenue de Champagne, lined with prestigious Champagne Houses.
Arrive at Le Clos Corbier, where e-bikes will be ready for your Champagne countryside adventure.
Ride through Premier and Grand Cru villages to reach some of Champagne’s most beautiful and remote locations.
Enjoy breathtaking views of UNESCO-listed vineyards, then visit Hautvillers, the birthplace of Champagne. Here, you’ll see the church where Dom Pérignon is buried.
Please note: No alcohol will be consumed during the bike tour itself, as drinking is prohibited while cycling. Upon your return to Le Clos Corbier, you’ll enjoy a cellar visit, champagne tasting, and an introduction to the champagne-making process.
Enjoy a traditional French lunch featuring local specialties like cheese puffs, paté-croûte, quiche, and Reims pink biscuit (adaptable for dietary needs).
Important Note: Participants must be comfortable and confident riding a bike, as e-bikes are heavier than standard bicycles. For safety reasons, we may refuse participation at departure if guests do not demonstrate sufficient cycling experience.
Drop-off is at 3:15 pm (Epernay).
For eco-friendly reasons, we do not provide bottled water. Remember to bring your own, which you can refill on site if needed.
It’s recommended to book your trains in advance to secure the best fares and ensure availability (trains on SNCF or Trainline). À la Française - Champagne is not responsible for any errors in train reservations or lack of trains; therefore, the tour will not be refundable for any reason.

A minimum of 2 participants is required for a tour. If only 1 person is booked on a tour, À la Française - Champagne will contact the customer (phone or email) to reschedule or refund the total amount.
Please note that down the cellars the average temperature is 10°C, so do not forget to bring a jacket along.
Animals are not allowed in shared tours for the comfort of all passengers.
Careful, the electric bikes are heavier than regular bikes, as a consequence it is required to be comfortable with cycling. If the bike tour is affected by weather (rain, black ice…), the tour will be adjusted accordingly: the schedule of the tour can be modified or the tour can be done by minivan instead of bikes.
Adjust your clothing for the bike ride, regarding the weather (gloves and scarves for coldest days ; solar cream and sun glasses in summer).
HELMETS AND BICYCLE SAFETY : The customer must wear a protective helmet when using the equipment. Helmets are offered and recommended as part of this rental agreement. Customers who refuse to rent and wear a helmet do so of their own free will and at their own risk.
RESPONSIBILITY : The customer is solely responsible for the bike he/she uses. A LA FRANCAISE cannot be held responsible for any damage suffered by the customer during the tour. The legal representatives of a minor taking part in the tour will be held responsible for any damage caused by the minor.
LOSS, THEFT, DAMAGE : From the time the electric bicycle and its equipment are made available to the customer until they are returned, the customer will be held responsible for any loss, theft or damage to the bicycle and its equipment. The guide cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft or damage of any equipment and/or bicycles used by the customer. The customer undertakes to compensate A LA FRANCAISE in the event of damage, theft or loss by paying an indemnity valued according to the bicycle nomenclature in € including VAT.
