What do we like?
A small restaurant (in terms of capacity) with all the makings of a big one! Opened by two gastronomic enthusiasts, Julien and Alex, Why Not offers home cooking based on fresh, local produce.
On the menu, the names of the dishes highlight the key ingredients in each recipe and are sure to make your mouth water: Tomato and shallot tart au gratin with goat's cheese, pan-fried minced beef or beef steak, potato mousseline with Comté cheese, or Why Not's instant Chocolate Moelleux.
The setting is elegant and friendly, reflecting the philosophy of the two partners, who have worked in various kitchens across Europe for almost 20 years. To make matters worse, the wine list gives pride of place to local nectars. So, why not?
