Art Deco in Reims

Art Deco walking tour led by a guide, this route takes you from the Carnegie Library to the Halles du Boulingrin, showing you some of the main buildings from the Reconstruction period.

Guided tour of the Cité-Jardin du Chemin Vert and St Nicaise church. In 1919, as Reims lay in ruins after the ravages of the First World War, the Cité-jardin du Chemin Vert began to emerge. Built on the outskirts of the city, it is still regarded today as one of the benchmarks for the Cité-jardin. Built in 1923 and listed as a historic monument, the church was decorated by the great artists of the day: Maurice Denis, René Lalique and Gustave Jaulmes.
